Fresh figs grilled with pepper salami and cheese

Recipe of the month

Fresh figs are very healthy. They contain vitamine B, magnesium and calcium. Most of the figs come from Brazil, but they also grow elsewhere, even in northern countries. Past season we got 182 figs from the tree in our garden! You can preserve figs in the freezer. This way you can enjoy this special fruit during the whole year.

Ingredients

For 4 persons
Nutrition: 420 kcal pp

If your BMI is over 30, you are allowed to eat half a portion extra, to prevent you from getting hungry again soon.

  • 400 gr fresh figs
  • 150 gr sliced pepper salami
  • 100 gr grated 30+ cheese
  • 4 brown pistolets or other small French breads
  • herb butter

Make sure you have the following dried herbs and other ingredients: dragon and garlic powder.

Cut the figs in half and roll them in the salami. Put them in an oven dish. Sprinkle them with the cheese. Sprinkle the dish with some dragon and garlic powder. Put the dish for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at about 180 degrees Celsius. Serve with the french breads and the herb butter.

An easy and very healthy meal!
